Advent Rangehoods sold on ebay come with a standard 3 month full service warranty from the date of purchase according to the Terms and Conditions of the warranty.
At the completion of your auction you will be offered the opportunity to upgrade to an extended 2 year warranty for and extra $59.00.
The warranty only becomes effective when proof of purchase is displayed. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty purposes. We do not do on site service calls and freight costs are not covered as a part of the warranty.
Should you have a problem with your item, we will either provide replacement parts or arrange for the item to be returned to us for repair.
Domestic Use
When item is used in a home environment and or is not used to generate income or revenue.
Commercial Use
There is no warranty available for the Commercial use of Advent Rangehoods unless advised otherwise.
Terms and Conditions
The warranty only covers replacement of parts from manufacturing faults. Not withstanding warranties covered by law which cannot be excluded, the exclusions list below, form part of Advent RangehoodsTerms and Conditions.
Exclusions
The warranty shall not apply in the following cases:
- If any defects created due to repair, alteration or modification performed by a third party without written consent or not within the terms of written consent.
- If parts used for repairs/replacement should only be those, sold or approved by Advent Rangehoods for such use.
- If damage is caused by improper installation, careless or improper use or not in accordance with instructions for use.
- If damage is caused because the rangehood has not been kept in a clean and serviced condition.
- If Advent Rangehoods perceives the item’s condition has been impaired by incorrect storage, improper mounting, extreme climatic conditions or other improper influences.
- Continous use in the knowledge of the item being defective.
- Damage to painted surfaces, minor dents, damage glass or light bulb.
- Damage incurred during transportation.
- The title of the machine has passed to a third party.

The purchaser assumes the responsibility to determine the applicability of use.
Daily Maintenance
Prior to use, the maintenance checks outlined in the Operator Manuals must be adhered to.

Responsibilities of Owners
You are responsible for the cost of labour to repair your rangehood. Your warranty does not cover the cost of transportation, or insurance for your goods. Advent Rangehoods does not cover damage or loss to your machine in the event that you have not insured your property. Please keep all receipts, serial number and other purchase information in case of, warranty claim, theft, loss or resale. |
