To make your purchase as easy as possible, please read the detailed store policies below. All products are brand new and factory sealed, the same as you would find in any retail store. All DVDs are Region 1, all video games are NTSC formatted. We do not sell burned copies or bootlegs. All orders are shipped directly from U.S. distributors to our customers.
Orders usually ship within 1-2 business days after receiving payment. Orders are shipped 5 days a week. Please understand that it is impossible to keep all of the items listed (and multiple copies) in stock at all times. On a rare occasion, if an item goes on backorder between the time we list the item and the time it ends, we will ship upon availability or refund your payment. Backordered items will still ship at the standard delivery rate and will not be shipped at a faster rate. We will notify you if your item is backordered. Please contact us with any questions or concerns prior to purchasing.
In many instances, you may pre-order items from BrainSoftware. Such items will list an expected release date in the sub-title and/or auction description. We will ship the item(s) to you on the actual availability date. Availability dates are supplied by the manufacturer or distributor of the product and are subject to change without notice. Once we learn of any changes to the availability date, we update the availability information in our listings and will notify all buyers.
If you do not wish to wait for a delay, you may request a cancellation for your order, provided that the item has not been shipped. If we do not hear from you before we ship the item, we will assume you have agreed to the shipment delay.
What does "Region 1" mean?
Region 1 DVDs are meant for use in DVD Players sold in North America only and may not play on DVD players purchased outside of North America.
Do you offer local pickup?
No, we do not offer local pickup.
Do you offer insurance?
Insurance is not necessary because we ensure that all packages are received and are in good condition. Any lost or damaged items will be replaced at no additional charge. Items that arrive damaged must be reported within 3 days of receipt.
Do you charge sales tax?
We only collect sales tax (6%) on orders that ship to addresses within the state of Michigan.

Why haven't I received any emails from your company?
If you have purchased an item from us and have not received any emails, please be sure that your spam filters are allowing our emails to get through. We always send Shipping Notification emails providing details of your shipment. Additionally, we will respond to any email that you send to us in a prompt and professional manner. If you have sent us a question through eBay, and are blocking your email, we will not be able to respond.
I cannot find a particular item listed in your auctions, do you offer more items than you have listed?
BrainSoftware has over 100,000 items available, with new releases becoming available on a daily basis. If you cannot find a particular item at our eBay Store, please ask. We will do what we can to locate the item and create a listing of the item for you.
BrainSoftware wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you decide within 7 days of receipt that you do not want the product you purchased, you may return it for a refund or exchange as long as it is unopened and in its original packaging. Shipping & Handling is non-refundable.
In order to receive a refund, you must contact us before returning your product.
Opened DVDs, CDs and Video Games cannot be returned unless defective or damaged. In such cases, the item will be exchanged for the same title. All other damaged items will be exchanged for the same item only. In the event that the same item is no longer available, a refund will be given once the item is returned. Items that arrive damaged must be reported within 3 days of receipt. As stated above, you must contact us before we can exchange the item.

A $1.00 shipping discount is given for each additional item purchased from BrainSoftware in the same order.
PayPal requires us to ship only to the address found in the payment. We cannot ship to any address found in the payment notes or in a separate email. If you would like your purchase to go to an alternate address, you must add that address to your PayPal account first, then select that address when making your purchase.
