What Kind of Nappy System Should I Use?
:: Fitted Nappies (Pictured on the far left above) A sized fitted nappy has a nice and snug fit because it is designed specifically for that sized baby. As the baby grows, more nappies will need to be purchased. These nappies require a cover and an optional liner. It is possible to nappy your baby with all natural fibres using a 2 part system like this.
:: All in Ones (Pictured middle left above) An all in one nappy contains both the absorbant layer and the waterproof layer, all in one. No seperate cover is needed at nappy changing time. It is the simplest type of cloth nappy system available. Packing the nappy bag is easy, midnight nappy changes are a breeze, and they're perfect for the parent of a wriggly baby.
:: Pocket Nappies (Pictured middle right above) A pocket nappy is a nappy that becomes an All In One once it is "put together". It is great for parents who want all the benefits of an All In One, and are prepared to do some "putting together" prior to each use, so that they can save some money. As an extra bonus, a pocket nappy is quick drying, as the absorbancy layer is seperate.
:: Disposable and Environmentally Friendly (Pictured on the right, above) These are perfect for the parent who wants to use cloth at home and environmentally friendly disposables when they are out. Also great for the parent who wants to use disposable nappies full time with a clear conscience. As with pocket nappies, these nappies have all of the benefits of an All In One nappy, once it is put together in either it's cloth or disposable form.
:: ONE SIZE NAPPIES
One size nappies are perfect for the parent who wants a nappy that will fit her baby from the time he's born to the time he toilet trains, the only size he'll ever need. Also great for the parent who may have 2 babies in nappies at the same time but wishes to work with only one system. One size nappies are currently available as fitted nappies and environmentally friendly disposable covers. |
