Returning an item within 35 days of purchase.

 

Go to your ebay account and sign in, click on the 'My Ebay' button and go the items won section to see all recently purchased items.

 

 

You will now see a list of all items recently purchased.

 

 

To the right hand side of each item you will see a drop down menu, if you click on this drop down menu you should see an option that says ‘RETURN THIS ITEM’

 

                 

 

When you click on ‘RETURN THIS ITEM’ you will then be taken to a new page and asked to enter a reason for return.

 

 

Select one of the reasons and then press continue.

 

 

 

The seller will then get an email through ebay asking if they agree to accept the return, when the seller agrees to accept the item return they are then presented with a refund button to refund any monies back to your account. By following the correct procedure the seller is also refunded any selling fees for the returned items.

 

RETURNING AN ITEM 35 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE

 

If more than 35 days have passed you will need to use a different method and go to the resolution centre to return an item. See below for a quick guide.

Go into my ebay as above and click on the section to see items won.

 

 

 

 Your screen should then look like this and you will see a link to the resolution centre. Click on the link to enter the resolution centre.

 

 

 

 

You will now be presented with a list of options, click the radio button that says you want to return an item and then press continue.

 

 

  

You now need to enter the item number of the item you want to return, alternatively you can click on the link that says ‘look for it here’ and select the item from a pop up list.

 

 

 

When you have the selected the correct item you will then be presented with a reason for return page, choose a suitable reason for return and then click continue.

 

 

 

The seller will then get an email through ebay asking if they agree to accept the return, when the seller agrees to accept the item return they are then presented with a refund button to refund any monies back to your account. By following the correct procedure the seller is also refunded any selling fees for the returned items.
