General Interest

Welcome to Caffé D'Italia.

Cafe Mauro - (our range of Italian coffee's) is renown the world over, for their precise, slow roasting process that respects and keeps intact the essential oils and natural fragrances of the bean, and preserves its aroma and fragrance. This creates the perfect balance between aroma and flavour by blending the best beans from around the world.

This is why Caffé D'Italia has brought the Cafe Mauro range of coffees to Australia.

Simply choose from our range of coffees, remembering that the Arabica bean is responsible for the smoothness of the coffee but it doesn't have any punch while the Robusta bean gives coffee the strength and intensity. The more Robusta the higher the caffeine level. Each person must find the right blend to suit their taste and needs.

Enjoying 100% Arabica coffee before bedtime should not have you swinging from the chandeliers but would be the perfect way to conclude your dinner.

HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT CUP OF COFFEE

The perfect cup of coffee is achieved by getting all the key components just right.

Select your coffee bean or grounds

Ensure that the water is fresh, Natural Spring Water will ensure the true flavour of the coffee.

A water temperature not above190-200 F or 88-93 C when it hits your coffee is very important to the taste of your coffee.

If the water is too cold the flavour will not be released and if the water is too hot the coffee will have a burnt flavour.

If your coffee maker produces coffee with bitter or weak flavour, try adding room temperature or hot water. On the other hand, if you have a coffee maker that's known to make burnt-tasting coffee because the water is too hot for infusion, wet the coffee grounds first with 1/4 cup of the cold water. This temporarily prevents the grounds from exposure to too hot temperatures.

Most important of all is to remember to enjoy each mouthful.

Coffee should always be an enjoyable experience.
