Shop Policies/Terms

  • Bidders must read & agree to all of Classy Couture’s Payment, Shipping, Warranty and Returns policies prior to bidding.
  • By placing a bid on any of Classy Couture’s items you have agreed to all policies outlined in all policy sections outlined below.
  • Please do not bid on this item unless you agree to all conditions of sale.
  • Classy Couture adheres to all trading rules applied by EBay and the NSW Office of Fair Trading.
  • Classy Couture’s sales are transacted, dispatched & originate in the state of New South Wales (NSW), thus all transactions shall only be governed by & interpreted according to the laws of the State of New South Wales (NSW).
  • Governing Law:   This agreement shall be binding upon the heirs and assigns of the parties and shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of New South Wales (NSW). Customer submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State and Federal courts located in NSW for any action or proceeding relating to this agreement and expressly waives any objection it may have to such jurisdiction or the convenience of such forum. As the brining of any action or proceeding in another jurisdiction by customer would be in breach of this agreement and could be deemed a fraud upon the court in such foreign jurisdiction, full faith and credit need not be given to such action or proceedings. Any disagreements with a transaction will therefore take place in NSW (only).

Payment policy

  • Payment methods accepted are Bank Deposit and Paypal only.
  • If paying by Bank Deposit please ensure you leave your userid as a reference. Failure to do this may result in delays of postage of your item. Other payment methods will not be accepted.
  • Optional postal insurance is available for 10% of the winning bid value (available at checkout.) If insurance is not paid Classy Couture is not liable for any loss, theft or damage of the item in transit.
  • To determine your payment amount, add your winning bid amount to your postage cost as outlined in the shipping section plus any postal insurance. (This will be emailed to you from the seller also)

Shipping Policy

  • Our items are sent via a combination of courier and registered post. Items are despatched within 3 days of payment being cleared, please allow 3-12 business days to receive within Australia although delivery can usually be quicker depending on your location.

 

Consolidate on Shipping and Save!

A 30% discount is offered on the postage of each additional item paid for at the same time at checkout. Full shipping is charged for the item with the highest shipping cost, additional items will be charged at 30% off. Please ensure you wait for all items to end and they are combined under a single ebay invoice before making payment. IMPORTANT NOTE: The discount only applies to purchase of more than 1 item and combined value of $100 or more (exc. shipping.) Consolidated items that have a weight of 20kg or more are not eligible.

  • Please ensure your address is not a Po Box if the product description indicates the item cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box
  • Please ensure your ebay address is correct as we will only dispatch to this address as at time of sale.
  • Pickups are not possible under any circumstance
  • Any unclaimed items returned to Classy Couture will only be re-sent if postage is repaid.
  • If insurance is not paid, Classy Couture is not liable for any loss, theft or damage of the item in transit
  • Items will be dispatched using a combination of Toll Ipec and Australia Post eParcel Services
  • All items will be dispatched within 72 hours of payment being processed. Delivery will take between 3-12 days (depending on customer location)
  • Weekend or after hours delivery are not available.

Warranty Policy

  • Items purchased from Classy Couture in an internet auction environment are subject to the NSW Office of Fair Tradings' (only) interpretation with regards to consumer rights for goods purchased at internet auction. The NSW Office of Fair Trading states:    "Implied warranties generally do not apply to goods purchased at auction".   Furthermore, it is stated the "NSW and Commonwealth consumer protection legislation generally does not apply to goods purchased at auction, including internet auctions".
  • We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
  • Please refer to the item listing description for the specifics of all warranty periods as they differ from product to product. If no warranty period is specified than the item is sold as is.
  • Insurance is 10% of winning bid values. If insurance is not paid, Classy Couture is not liable for any loss, theft or damage of the item in transit
  • For products that are "Dead on Arrival (DOA)", "Damaged in Transit" or "Incorrectly Shipped", items must be returned to Classy Couture within a period of 7 days of arrival.
  • Please be advised that all replacement / repair / refund solutions are at the complete discretion of Classy Couture.
  • It is not acceptable for refund / replacement / exchange to take place if the buyer is simply unhappy with their purchase, if the item was not what they expected, if they have changed their mind, or they have made the wrong choice.
  • All events such as physical damage, misuse, unauthorized repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product being accepted for return.
  • We specifically disclaim any warranty coverage for all item accessories and bonus items.
  • All items are thoroughly inspected prior to dispatch - thus any damage related issues can only be as a result of damage in transit. Please be advised these cases will not be permissible for return unless postal insurance has been taken out on the item(s).
  • All Warranties are non-transferable. If the item(s) are being purchased by yourself then any warranty claims must come directly from you
  • Please note that we cannot guarantee compatibility of items and therefore we will not accept returns/refunds based on incompatibility related issues. Buyers are urged to research items thoroughly prior to bidding to avoid disappointment. No exceptions.

      Returns Policy

  • It is not acceptable for refund / replacement / exchange to take place if the buyer is simply unhappy with their purchase, if the item was not what they expected, if they have changed their mind, or they have made the wrong choice.
  • Insurance is 10% of winning bid values. If insurance is not paid, Classy Couture is not liable for any loss, theft or damage of the item in transit
  • Classy Couture reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, or exchange of any items.
  • No refunds/returns/exchange are offered after 7 days of payment received.
  • All items are thoroughly inspected prior to dispatch - thus any damage related issues can only be as a result of damage in transit. Please be advised these cases will not be permissible for return unless postal insurance has been taken out on the item(s).
  • Events such as physical damage, misuse, unauthorized repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product being accepted for return.
  • In the unlikely event that an erroneous sending by Classy Couture of the incorrect item, it is up to the customer to arrange the return of the item to Classy Couture at their cost.
  • Returns will only be accepted if assigned with a Return Authorization (RA) Number.  All returns without the RA number will not be accepted. RA returns must be received within 14 days from the date the RA is assigned. For the provision of an RA number please email us.
  • For RA items, it is the buyers responsibility to return the faulty item to Classy Couture at their cost. No exceptions. 
  • Returns sent by COD (Cash on Delivery) will not be accepted.
  • No Refund / Replacements can be offered if the item has been used &/or misused.
  • Item(s) may only be returned if they are Dead On Arrival (DOA). Please be advised that all replacement / repair / refund solutions are at the complete discretion of Classy Couture.
  • All RA items are rigorously tested upon receipt to confirm all fault descriptions. Should an item be returned and confirmed faulty, it will be at Classy Couture discretion to repair, replace, or refund accordingly.
  • Only products in their original packaging, with their original accessories, & in a resellable condition can be accepted for return.
  • Please be aware that non-adherence to all RA number and sending instructions will result in immediate cancellation of acceptance and all refund or replacement options being VOID. In the event of VOID return cases, the same item that was sent will be returned to the customer at the customers expense. Grounds for VOID refund or replacement cases include anything where the item, and/or item accessories, and/or item packaging have not been returned in their original resalable condition. This includes (but is not limited to):   damaged or missing item, &/or damaged or missing original item accessories, &/or damaged or missing item packaging (note - this includes all original box packaging), &/or insufficient protective parcel wrapping for transport that results in the item damage during transport.
  • Should an item be returned and found not to be faulty, the buyer will be liable to pay a compulsory testing & administration service fee of $25 to Classy Couture. At this point, the buyer will then be liable to pay for postage & handling of the item return back to them. No exceptions.
  • Please allow up to 30 Business Days for the processing of all RA returns to allow for testing and assessment from the day we receive the returned item(s). There is no need to email us prior as we will email you once processed.
  • For rare instances of refund cases, we will only refund you for the amount Classy Couture received for the transaction. This is calculated by:   Total eBay purchase amount for item only (ie. excluding postage) minus Classy Couture eBay fees. Please be advised that no postage & handling fees will be paid out nor reimbursed for returned items for refunds. No exceptions.
  • While all care is taken in the dispatch of all parcels there are rare instances of incorrect delivery or incorrect parcel sending. In the unlikely event of such erroneous circumstances, the parcel return will need to be arranged and returned by the customer back to us. Classy Couture deals with business-based couriers that, under our courier account with them, do not allow for the arrangement of home pickups. It is the buyers responsibility to return the faulty item to Classy Couture at their cost.   For complaints regarding incorrect delivery or incorrect parcel sending, email us.
