In the event that there are any problems with the product purchased with this timeframe, Fishing Deals Australia will then repair, replace or refund at their descretion the defective product at no expense to the customer. This includes all related courier charges. Please note that we will require proof of purchase in this situation. As is standard practice for online selling, we reserve the right to inspect and assess the returned defective product first to determine the warranty required. If you have any questions or concerns regarding warranties, please contact us.
For Ebay purchases our standard 12 month warranty does NOT APPLY. This means that if the item purchased was received as damaged on arrival, there is amanufacturing fault, or the wrong item was sent, then please contact us immediately.
Returns
If an incorrect item was shipped, or products were flawed, then a warranty return claim must be processed within 14 days from the shipping date. In this situation we may make an offer to keep the item/s at a reduced price instead of returning them. Depending on the warranty claim, we will also send out the correct items, or process a full refund.
If an item was damaged in transit, we need to be contacted within 24hrs of receipt of goods. In this situation we do require proof of the damage product and packaging via emailed photos and will determine if a warranty is applicable.
Warranty claim due to damaged items upon delivery; in the event that the item you purchased is no longer available, a refund or store credit will be processed.
How do I organise a Replacement?
If you have contacted us for a Warranty Claim then you will be provided with a Return Authorisation (RA) number. Please contact us to receive this number. Once your warranty claim has been authorised, we will organise a courier to pickup the item/s from a delivery address provided (This is at our discretion and only if it was an incorrect item was shipped. We can also offer you to keep the item/s for a reduced price). Note: Someone needs to be at the pickup address to meet the courier and sign for the parcel.
For all damaged unsaleable items it is at our discretion whether we request the customer to return the item. (Note: this will not impede on the Warranty claim). If a return is requested then we can either; Option 1. provide our PO Box for returns where return postage costs will be refunded to the customer. OR Option 2. We can organise a courier pickup of the faulty item and incur courier costs.
NOTE: Items can either be repaired, replaced or refunded.
Refunds
No refunds, credits, exchanges or replacements are offered if you have changed your mind about the product, make an incorrect choice, or failed to verify and accurately provide information when buying one of our items. All EBay purchases are legally binding and must be paid for in full.
If a Refund is warranted then it will be processed in the form of payment used on the original order. For credit card refunds, please allow 1 or 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
