All listings are created by History on the Net and their design and layout are the copyright of History on the Net.

All items listed on Ebay are in stock at the time of listing.

All items listed on Ebay are also sold in our main website shop and very occasionally an item may become temporarily out of stock. Should this cause significant delay in despatch of a purchase the winning buyer will be notified by email and if necessary offered refund of any monies paid.

History on the Net reserves the right to cancel a listing at any time.

Price

The majority of items are listed as 'Buy it Now'. The price of a 'Buy it Now' item is the price displayed. Postage at the relevant price for the buyer's location will be added to the 'Buy it Now' price displayed. History on the Net does not accept Best Offers.

Where items are offered for auction the price charged is that of the winning bid. Postage at the relevant price for the buyer's location will be added to this price.

Payment

By clicking to 'Buy it Now' or placing a bid on an item offered for auction, the buyer is entering into a legal contract and is bound to pay the price required. Full payment in GBP (pounds sterling) is required prior to despatch.

Full payment or posting of cheque or postal order should be made within three days of winning an item. Where payment is likely to be delayed beyond this time buyers should contact us with expected date of payment.

Payment can only be made in GBP (pounds sterling). We are unable to accept payment in any other currency.

PayPal

The option to make payment by PayPal should be presented as part of the Ebay checkout system

Alternatively PayPal payment can be made by logging into your PayPal account and selecting the option to 'Make a Payment'. Send your payment in full (including full postage costs) to sales@historyonthenet.com or sales@naturalhistoryonthenet.com

Credit/Debit Card

We accept all major credit and debit cards but do not accept American Express cards

Personal Cheque

Personal cheque payment can be made by any cheque issued by a UK bank

Cheques should be made payable to History on the Net or Natural History on the Net and posted to the address given with your winning bidder confirmation email.

Please ensure that you have cleared funds to meet the amount specified on the cheque. Any charges made to us as a result of a bounced cheque will be passed to the customer for payment.

Postal Order

Postal Order payment can be made in GBP only. We cannot accept international money orders.

Postal Orders should be made payable to History on the Net or Natural History on the Net and posted to the address given with your winning bidder confirmation email.

Direct Bank Transfer

Payment can be made by direct bank transfer in GBP only.

To make payment by bank transfer please email customerservices@historyonthenet.com and request details to make payment by this method.

The purchaser is liable to meet all costs incurred in the transfer process.


Non Payment

 Where an item has not been paid in full or notification of posting of cheque or postal order payment has not been received within three days the following procedure will automatically occur

on the fourth day a payment reminder email will be sent

If payment or notification of posting cheque or postal order payment is not received a further payment reminder email will be sent on the seventh day

If after ten days payment or notification of posting cheque or postal order payment has not been received we will notify Ebay and begin the unpaid item process.

Despatch/Delivery

History on the Net aims to despatch all items as soon as possible after receipt of full payment.

Where payment has been made by cheque History on the Net reserves the right to wait until the cheque has cleared (7 - 10 days) before despatching the item(s)

Where payment has been made by PayPal ECheque items will not be despatched until clearance notification has been received by PayPal.

Approximate delivery times shown on our Postage page are those given by Royal Mail. History on the Net cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail.

History on the Net cannot be held responsible for delays in despatch caused by circumstances beyond our control e.g. adverse weather conditions, power failure, hardware failure etc

Customs Charges

Packages sent to customers located outside the EC may incur Customs Import duty. The payment of these charges are the full responsibility of the purchaser.

History on the Net and Natural History on the Net will not under any circumstances falsify details on customs labels. Customs labels will declare that the goods have been purchased as well as the full weight, content and value of the goods purchased.
