About us
Kids Eye Gear was created after our son started patching due to a congenital cataract and subsequent surgery. An important part of saving his vision was consistent patching but we couldn’t find orthoptic kids eye patches that were a great shape, gentle on his skin and were fun and colourful – so we created our own.
Having been on the patching journey for over five years ourselves, and now with two kids’ in glasses, our mission is to make patching and wearing glasses as fun as possible. Our adhesive kids eye patches and fabric kids eye patches are perfect for assisting with the treatment of amblyopia and other conditions requiring occlusion therapy. We also offer fun stickers and transfers that will help encourage compliance with patching.
