Q: Why choose wireless over wired communication solutions?
The biggest advantages of wireless are cost, convenience and safety. Wireless communication systems can be installed at a fraction of the cost of wiring. The costs of labor to measure cut and wire a machine or search for faulty connections during repair can add up. By comparison, wireless systems are easy to install and configure; only a power and ground wire are needed throughout a vehicle, making diagnostics and maintenance a breeze. Wireless remote controls allow a machine operator to control and run a machine in hazardous zones from a safe, advantageous location. This also allows an operator to more readily predict potential dangers, such as proximity to power lines, and quickly adjust operations to suit.
Q: What is the role of the shutter release cable?
This allows shaking of the camera to be reduced, lets you stand in front of the camera if desired, and is especially useful if the camera doesn't have a self-timer feature. Also, unlike a self-timer, it lets you take multiple photographs remotely without returning to the camera (if it is digital or motorized), and don't restrict you to a particular amount of time. However, before a shutter release cable is purchased, steps should be taken to make sure it is of the correct type and an appropriate length.

There is not electronic contact on the bellows; it must be used by manually.
Q: Why do I need a macro extension tube with my lens?
All lenses have a limit to how close they can focus. A typical lens, for example, may not be able to focus on anything closer than 30cm. This is because as objects move closer to the lens, the focal point moves further back, eventually beyond the plane of the film or sensor. An obvious way around this problem is to move the lens further away from the camera. That is what macro extension tubes do.
Q: Can it use with telephoto lenses?
It is useful even with telephoto lenses. A long lens is great for making things bigger, but they cannot focus very close at all. An extension tube can allow you to enlarge with the telephoto but still maintain a good working distance.
