What is AB Coating?
It is a translucent / transparent coating applied at manufacturing point to the crystal to enhance it.
It is usually on the back or underside of a crystal to give it a rainbow effect.
The look is like the inside of mother-of-pearl sea shell. As you change the angle of the light hitting the crystal you will see different phases of color / sheen. It looks like the sun is shining on the crystal all the time.
