Ebay has recently announced fee increases to take effect on August 21st that will have quite an impact on my store and many other Ebay stores.

At the moment I'm not sure of the extent of the impact, but unfortunately the fees I am currently paying to list and sell items in my store will at least double. Some listing fees on my higher-priced books will go up by 500%!

I love selling books and don't intend to stop doing so, but will be moving some of my stock to another online auction site - please feel free to email me for more information, or take a look at my 'About Me' page for a clue about where I'm going ;). My Ebay store will continue and my selling prices will remain as they are until I'm able to more fully assess how the new changes are affecting me. 

I will however have to increase my postage charges so that they are a better reflection of what they really are. Until now I have been subsidising postage by not charging for the packing supplies I use, and have been discounting the post satchels and prepaid envelopes I use, but this will no longer continue after August 21st.

So if you have been thinking of buying something from me, buy it before August 21st to take advantage of my current low postage charges.
