All sales are final - I will only accept
returns where I have inadvertently misrepresented an item or overlooked a
glaring fault. The condition of a second-hand garment will always be subjective
(just as factors such as the colour of an item can vary depending on your
computer monitor) but I consider my 12+ years experience in selling and gauging
the condition of used clothing - coupled with massive, exceptionally positive,
glowing feedback from buyers - to be stellar. Essentially, I know what I'm
talking about, and I aim to please. Your repeat business is important to me!
Customers have seven days from the receipt
of the faulty item to return it. All returned goods must be received in the
same condition as they were shipped and will be inspected (for originality)
before a refund is granted.
Please note that I keep detailed records of
exactly the way an item looks the day it is dispatched - I hate that I have
been forced to introduce this practice but have done so after knowing
several sellers who have received their items back for refunds only to find
they were not the exact items they had sold. Such "buy and switch" frauds
are very hard for private, non-business sellers such as myself to continue
operating under the threat of.
I do describe all my items very accurately
and usually in great detail, with clear and accurate photographs, mentioning
any flaws I find. I know from experience how upsetting it is to receive an
item that's not as described so bid with confidence!
The refund will be for the item cost and -
to be fair - also for the initial outward postage, but the buyer is
responsible for the return postage costs as this is for a service payable to
Australia Post, not for anything payable to me personally. Registered Mail
must be used to return an item if that's the way the item was sent to the
buyer.
