·         At the Sunny Shack we understand how important your purchase is so to demonstrate this we ensure we communicate with you at every step of the way. Notifications are provided when you win an auction or purchase an item, payment is received and when your pacakge has been posted. After that, for Australian customers, you can even track your package right to your doorstep using Australia Post's online tracking service!

Shipping & Handling

 

AUSTRALIA

 

Shipping Prices: You have the choice of two fast, reliable and traceable shipping services from Australia Post:

 

·         Express eParcel Post (estimated delivery time of 1 to 2 business days)

·         Regular eParcel Post (estimated delivery time of 3 to 7 business days)

 

To ensure your item arrives safely, we bubble wrap and place it in a sturdy Australia Post cardboard box for maximum protection

 

Insurance: You have the option to purchase transit insurance to the value of their item/s. Insurance charges vary from item to item, which are noted in each eBay listing.

 

We recommend that insurance be purchased as we are unable to cover for any damaged or lost packages after they have been handed over to Australia Post. 

 

If your package is insured and a claim needs to be filed (when a package is received damaged or Australia Post confirms the package as lost after an investigation), you will receive full reimbursement prior to filing a claim. 

 

If your package is not insured and is suspected of being lost, we are more than happy to assist by tracking the package and starting an investigation with Australia Post to find it (only the sender of the package can initiate this). The investigation can take 4 – 5 business days, after which Australia Post will contact us with an outcome. In the unlikely event that a package is lost, we will assist you all we can to find it but will need your help and understanding. Where Australia Post declares the package as lost, they will not provide a refund for the contents of the package.

 

Combined Shipping Discounts:  All additional items purchased after your first purchase will be shipped for free when paying for the items in one transaction. If you have purchased more than 1 item, please wait until all of your purchases are completed and then we will make you up a combined invoice factoring in free shipping for additional items.

 

Online Tracking: In your postage notification email we will provide you with a consignment tracking number. If you would like to track the package's steps, you can do this by visiting Australia Post’s eParcel tracking website: www.ausposttracking.com.au and searching for consignment number we provide you with. 

 

Note: The tracking system is updated once a day and sometimes Australia Post do not always scan the packages at every stop (although they generally do). If you check back later (24 - 48 hrs) there should be a track on the package. However, by this point it should nearly be delivered.

  

Signature upon Delivery: With Australia Post’s eParcel service all packages are required to be signed for upon delivery, making security measures greater than normal express and regular packages. Should you or not be available to accept the package, an ‘attempted delivery card’ may be left and the package will be sent to your local post office for collection. If this occurs please follow the instructions as set out by Australia Post. 

 

INTERNATIONAL

 

Shipping: All orders shipped outside Australia will be sent via Registered International Post, the most secure and reliable from Australia Post. This Australia Post product offers an added security service with proof of posting, and a signature on delivery. For more information on what this will provide you with, please visit Australia Post's Registered Post International website.

 

Estimated delivery time of 1 to 4 weeks depends on your location. All items are subject to delays by Customs if they are flagged for inspection. Import duties, taxes, and charges aren’t included in the item price or postage cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.

 

Combined Shipping Discounts: Combined shipping discounts are available upon request.

 

Online Tracking: Unfortunately Australia Post does not offer an economical online international tracking product and as a result we're unable to offer online tracking to international customers. We do however register and insure your package, so we are able to call Australia Post for your to find out where it is if we need to. The registration ID of the package will be sent to you in your postage notification email.

Bank Deposit (Preferred): Bank deposits allow you to transfer money from your bank account to our bank account. This can be done through netbanking or over the counter at your local bank. If paying through netbanking, money usually clears into our account by 10.30pm EST on business days if transferred on the same business day before 3pm EST. Over the counter payments can take up to 5 business days. If you do not have access to our particular bank for an over the counter payment, most banks allow you to deposit money over the counter to other banks. It may be worth a call to your bank to see if they can do it. To pay via bank deposit, select bank deposit as your chosen payment option when going through eBay's checkout and follow the prompts. All our account information will be provided there and in your winning bidder email.

 

Paypal: Paying through Paypal enables you to pay via credit card, your Paypal account balance or direct debit from your bank account. Credit card and paypal account balance payments are transferred immediately allowing your package to be shipped as soon as possible. Returns and Exchanges

 

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason we are more than happy to accept it back in the same condition within 7 days. You can either choose a refund of 95% of the item price (minus original postage costs if shipping was free) OR exchange it for a pair of equal, higher, or lower value. If lower we will refund you the difference in price from the original item and if higher you’ll pay the difference from the original item. Please note when returning:

·         Send the package back to the return address as stated on the receipt and box.

·         Please include the original receipt or instead some form of information pertaining to the transaction. e.g. item number, your eBay user ID.

·         The item/s must be returned within 7 days inside its original Australia Post cardboard box in the same condition when received and must include all item accessories.

·         Shipping and insurance already paid can not be refunded as this can not be recovered from Australia Post.

·         The buyer is responsible for additional shipping charges when returning or exchanging items.

 

 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

1.    Can I pick up the item? Sorry, as we are not available for some hours of the day it's sometimes difficult to schedule pickups, so we can only post off items. To save on postage locally though we can post the item/s via regular post instead of express to save a bit of money. They generally arrive in the same amount of time and are equally safe services. If you would like to try the items on for size, you may be able to at your local retail outlets.

 

2.  Are these sunglasses really 100% authentic and genuine? Yep, everything we stock is 100% authentic and brand new. We source directly from manufacturers and can assure they are the real deal. If for any reason you feel they are not, we will provide your money back in full and pay your postage back. Please refer to our feedback for further evidence of item authenticity.

 

3.    Can I return or exchange my item/s? Yep, certainly. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your item, we are more than happy to either refund you 95% of the purchase price (5% is to cover transaction related fees) or swap it for a pair of equal, higher, or lower value. For more information please refer to the ‘Returns and Exchanges’ section above.

 

4.    Which bank are you with? Bankwest. All our account information is provided in eBay's checkout and in your winning bidder email. 

 

5.    I don’t have your bank in my area. How can I make a bank deposit? Most banks allow you to deposit money over the counter to other banks. It may be worth a call to your bank to see if they can do it. If you have internet banking it’s even easier as you just need to enter the details provided online. Alternatively, we also accept Paypal and money orders as payment methods.

 

6.  Can I track my package? Yep, certainly. We provide you with a tracking number once the item has been posted. If you would like to track the package's steps, you can do this by visiting Australia Post’s eParcel tracking website: www.ausposttracking.com.au and searching for the consignment number we provide you with.

 

7.  I can't track my package, why? Australia Post's tracking system is updated once a day and sometimes Australia Post do not always scan the packages at every stop (although they generally do). 8.     Are these sunglasses polarized? Generally if there is no mention of this feature in the listing they tend not to be polarized.

 

9.     Do the sunglasses come with any accessories? All sunglasses we sell come with a carry case (either soft or hard). Also, a large majority of sunglasses come with other accessories such as cleaning cloths, stencils and stickers as provided by the manufacturer. These additional accessories, however, vary from brand to brand and are subject to availability.
