How can I contact you?

Where are you located?
We have a store and warehouse located in Connecticut.  All eBay orders ship from the warehouse.

What's the best way to find your eBay store?
There are TWO options:  First, simply type in www.ThomasAndToys.com into your browser and you will directed to our eBay store.  Second, you can add our store to your favorites and then access it through your "my eBay" page.

Why haven“t you answered my e-mail?
We are very prompt in answering email.  We strive toward a response time of less than 24 hours.
If you have not received a reply after 2 days and it is not a holiday or weekend, then please send another email or check your spam folder for our reply.

When will Thomas And Toys send my feedback?
Like many other large sellers on eBay, we use an automated system to ensure timely feedback for all our customers.  Once you pay for your item, our system will automatically leave feedback for you within 24 hours.  If, for some reason, there is problem with your order please give us the opportunity to correct any issues before leaving feedback.  We believe that communication is the best way of solving any problem and we will do our best to ensure that you are happy with your transaction.

I plan on buying several items.  Should I pay for them separately or together?
We get this question a lot.  Many customers are eager to pay as soon as they win an item.  However, to qualify for our shipping special all items must be paid on one invoice. We don't mind waiting, so use your 10 days to bid, combine and save on shipping!

I want to combine several items and save on shipping.  When is payment due?
Payment is due 10 days from your first auction win or store purchase.  If there are delays, please notify us.  We are very easy to work with.

Can you hold my items while I make other purchases in your store?
Sure!  You have 10 days to combine and save.  Just let us know when you are done and we'll combine your items so you save on shipping.

Do you accept money orders?
Yes. We do.  Money orders should include the item number(s) to help us find your order faster.  We also accept credit cards through PayPal.

I received a 2nd chance offer.  How do I purchase and combine with my other items?
If you receive an offer, you need to click the "Buy It Now" button and buy the item.  You will NOT have to pay for the item immediately - you are just committing to purchasing by selecting "buy it now".  Once purchased, the item will qualify for reduced shipping terms when consolidated with your other items.  See the shipping section (below) for our combined shipping specials.

Your listings have a letter at the end of the description like this one: HARVEY - Thomas & Friends Wooden Crane Engine Train Toy B NIB  What does this mean?
This is for internal use and simply identifies the location of the item in our warehouse. We have used letters A-Y to identify sections in the warehouse. Only one letter left!

Your items are listed as either "New" or "New in Box" (NIB).  What's the difference?
We only sell BRAND NEW Thomas Wooden Railway items.  "New" items are brand new, but have been removed from a larger set.  This allows customers to buy specific items w/out the duplication which occurs when buying large sets.  "New in Box" is also brand new, but has NOT been removed from the manufacturers packaging.

I am looking for a listing of Retired Engines.  Can you help?

My son loves Thomas.  Do you just sell the Thomas Wooden Trains?
Yes.  We only sell the best and TWR is it!  Even 2 year olds know the difference.  Plastic Thomas or even the generic wooden train sets do not capture the attention of your little engineers quite like Thomas Wooden Railway.  Thomas Wooden Railway is heirloom quality, and will last forever.

Is Thomas Wooden Railway compatible with other wooden sets like Brio?
Yes, it is compatible with Brio and other generic versions.  Thomas is the biggest and best.  Other brands ensure compatibility by matching their specs to Thomas.

Do your items come from a smoke-free environment?
Yes.  All of our workers are non-smokers.  Also, our inventory is maintained in a temperature controlled warehouse to maintain product freshness.

What shipping specials do you offer Domestic customers?
Two options are available to U.S. customers:  First, we offer a very popular FREE SHIPPING SPECIAL for purchases over $300.  Second, you can combine multiple purchases at an additional charge of only $1 per item.  To calculate, start with the item with the highest shipping charge and add $1 for each additional item.  Example: 3 Trains = $4.71 ($2,71 + $1 + $1).

What shipping specials do you offer International customers?
For international shipments, you can combine multiple purchases at an additional charge of only $1 per item.  Start with the item with the highest shipping charge and add $1 for each additional item.  Example: 3 Trains to the UK = $6.69 ($4.69 + $1 + $1).

Why is International shipping so expensive for ONE item?
Honestly, it is set high to encourage customers to buy multiple items.  There is a bit more time involved (customs forms, etc) with shipping an international order.  As such, when you buy multiple items your per item shipping cost is reduced significantly.  The more you buy, the more you save!

I received a notice from USPS that my item shipped.  How do I track it?
Limited tracking is available with USPS.  The tracking number only updates when scanned at various USPS distribution centers.  You are unable to track the exact location of your parcel but this number will provide a good estimate of when you can expect your order.  Estimated ship times are available at the USPS website

What is your policy on returns and exchanges?
Please see listing for details.  If we send the wrong item, we will correct the problem immediately.  If an item breaks 90 days after purchase, Learning Curve offers a very generous replacement policy.  See link: Learning Curve Warranty.

Do you allow local pick up?
Unfortunately, we don't offer local pick up.  We ship all items out of our warehouse which is shared with other online vendors.
