Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, direct bank deposit and internet bank transfers. If you'd rather mail in your payment, we accept money orders (available from Australia Post or your local bank branch).

Q: How long do I have to pay for my order?
A: You have 7 days to make payment. If you have not made payment by then but wish to contact us to make payment at a later date is fine with us. If we have not heard from you and have not received your payment within 5 days, we will open an Unpaid Item Dispute which may result in you receiving an Unpaid Item Strike from eBay.

Q: How quickly will you process my order?
A: Very quickly! We try and process orders as soon as they are received. As a general rule your order will be posted the same day as money is received as long as payment is received by 2.00pm

Q: How do you ship my order?
A: We use Australia Post for all of our deliveries.

Q: If I pay for express shipping, will I really get it the next day (or within two days)?
A: In most cases, yes, you will receive your package the next business day. We use Australia Posts Express Post service and is guaranteed next day delivery within its Express Post network. Please refer to Australia Posts website for more details on your area.

Q: Do you deliver to overseas addresses?
A: Yes! We currently ship Worldwide. All items are sent Air Mail with an estimated delivery time of 5 to 10 business days.

Q:  Can I get combined postage if I order more than one item?
A:  Yes, Ifyou purchase more than one item, combined shipping is automatically calculated in checkout.

Q:  What if I need to return my item(s)?
A:  Please refer to Costume Parlour’s Return Policy for all the details.

Q:  What Items Are Not Returnable?
A:  The following items are NEVER returnable and NOT covered by The Return Policy.
  • Sale items are not returnable, nor are they exchangeable. All merchandise purchased “On Sale” is sold "As Is."
  • Some items are never returnable (for hygienic reasons). These include dog costumes, baby costumes, undergarments, wigs, hats, stockings, petticoats, and socks, and of course, any item that is sold on Sale.
  • Any item / items that are deemed worn, used,  damaged or altered in any way

Q:  How long does it take to process a return?
A:  Returns are generally processed within 3 business days of us receiving the product. During the Halloween and Christmas season (October to the end of December) this process may take longer.

Q:  What if I ordered the wrong size? Can I exchange it for a different size?
A:  Yes, you are welcome to exchange the same costume for a different size. You will be responsible for all shipping fees (shipping it back to us and shipping the new costume out). If you wish to exchange you must notify us by email and return the costume along with a stampedreturn addressed envelope.

Q:  Do you have a shop or can I pick up my order?
A:  Costume Parlour is an online store only. Unfortunately due to safety and security concerns the public are unable to visit our warehouse.
