~OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE~

We aim to make your eBay experience as pleasurable as possible, to do so it is important that you read through our terms & conditions of sale before making your purchase. This is to ensure there is no misunderstanding & to make sure the transaction runs smoothly.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL PRODUCTS WE SELL ARE THE GENUINE BRAND, WE DO NOT SELL SECONDS PRODUCTS.

 

BEFORE YOU BUY

 

 

 

 

PAYMENT

·         Please ask as many questions as you like if unsure about descriptions or sizing.

·         Please allow us 24 hours for a response as we do have many questions from buyers that take time to answer

 

PAYMENT TERMS - 7 DAYS:

  • Once a ‘Buy it Now’ purchase is made you will receive a confirmation email with instructions & payment details within 24 hours.
  • Payment is to be made within 7 days unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • If you require an extra day or two…..Please just let us know!

COMBINING MULTIPLE PURCHASES:

  • If you purchase more than one item the POSTAGE WILL BE COMBINED.
  • Often eBay will combine automatically but this may sometimes be incorrect.
  • It is best to allow us to combine the items to ensure postage is correct before making payment.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS:

  • Domestic Transactions - Bank Deposit (is preferred), Money Order, Bank Cheque, PayPal.  – NO Personal Cheques

PAYMENT IDENTIFICATION:

·         You need to ensure you supply us with reference identification when making payment.

·         This identification can be your user ID, Item number, or your last name.

·         Using a reference of ‘Deposit Cash’, ‘Bra’ or ‘Satin & Lace’  is NOT ACCEPTABLE as we deal with hundreds of transactions a week.

·         After you have made payment, please send us an email with the details - type of payment, amount paid, reference used and confirmation of your postal address.

·         Please ensure you carefully check our bank account number & enter it correctly, as a simple mistake can cause the payment to be ‘Rejected’ and return the money to your own bank account.

·         If you are paying with another persons PayPal account, let us know the name so we can identify the payment.

·         If you are paying by PayPal with e-check it is not uncommon for payments to take up to 10 days to clear.

 

 NON-PAYING BIDDERS:

  • A  payment reminder is  sent  7 days after sale.
  • If we don’t hear from you or receive payment  within 14 days of sale, then an Unpaid Item Dispute is filed in order for us to be reimbursed for our fees for the sale.
  • To avoid this situation we encourage you to contact us regarding payment.

 

LAY-BY

Satin & Lace offers a 6-week Lay-by  - please let us know before you purchase if you wish to use this service.

Lay-by Terms & Conditions:

  • Lay-by is available with all purchases over $100. Purchases must be made within a 14 day time period.
  • Minimum 20% Deposit is required within 7 days of initial purchase.
  • Regular payments are required via bank deposit or money order Only – No PayPal payments will be accepted for lay-bys

 

POSTAGE & DELIVERY

POSTAGE:

·         Standard post Items are usually posted within 24-36 hours of payment confirmation & only on business days. We have a ONE day handling time. This means if you purchase an item it will be posted the following day.

 

WE DO NOT POST THE SAME DAY THE ITEM IS PURCHASED

 

·         Express post items are posted out within 24 hours of payment confirmation & only on business days.

We offer four different postage options,

1 - Standard postage of $2.00, this is a standard Australia Post parcel & does NOT HAVE A TRACKING number.

Each additional item is an extra $1.00 to post.

2 - Australia Post Parcel With Tracking, this is $6.00 & provides a tracking number for traceability.

3 - Express Post is $8.00 & provides a tracking number.

4 - Registered Post is $8.00 & provides a tracking number & insurance.

PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY WHICH POSTAGE OPTION SUITS YOU BEST.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU CHOOSE THE STANDARD POSTAGE OPTION THERE WILL, BE NO TRACKING NUMBER.

 

·         REGISTERED POST & EXPRESS POST items require a signature.

·         If you are not available to sign, the item WILL NOT be left. A card will be left with details on where the item can be picked up from - Usually your local post office.

·         If this is not suitable you may consider having the item sent to a work address or neighbour.

·         There are strictly NO PICKUPS OR DELIVERIES

·         Items are shipped in plain packing with no advertising for discreet deliveries.

·         Please ensure that your surname is included with your check out address to avoid delays with your purchases being delivered. If your item is returned because of a wrong address, you will need to pay postage again.

WE RECOMMEND CHOOSING A POSTAGE OPTION WITH A TRACKING NUMBER AS WE TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITEMS LOST BY AUSTRALIA POST

 

AUSTRALIAN POSTAGE  RATES:

·         Postage rates are Non Negotiable

·         All items are sent via standard post unless registered post or express post is requested.

·         Standard post - $2.00 for the first item & then each additional  item is an extra $1.00 to post

·         Express Post & Registered Post  - $8.00 for the first item & then each additional item is an extra $1.00 to post. - NOTE: NO INSURNACE ON EXPRESS POST

·         FREE POST ITEMS - Items listed with free post, ONLY apply to that item, other items will be charged at the standard advertised rate.Free post items are sent by STANDARD POST ONLY AND DO NOT HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER.

DELIVERY SCHEDULES:

Parcels are posted within either 24 or 48 hours of payment confirmation.

Please allow a reasonable amount of time for your parcel to arrive

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITEMS LOST IN THE POSTAL SYSTEM AND WILL NOT ISSUE REFUNDS OR RE SEND ITEMS FOR LOST POST ITEMS.

WE STRONGLY SUGGEST CHOOSING THE REGISTERED POST OPTION AS THIS IS THE ONLY POSTAL METHOD THAT OFFERS INSURANCE.

Australia Wide
– allow 7 to 14 business days. If you have not received your parcel within this time frame, please check with your local Australia Post office to see if your item is held there before contacting us.

 ITEM PICK UP:

Sorry but due to insurance we will NOT allow pick ups of goods.

EXCHANGES

OUR EXCHANGE  POLICY: 

·         We offer NO REFUNDS at all only exchanges or store credits for bras.

·         NO EXCHANGES on briefs,G-Strings, bodysuits or sets that include a pant/brief. With sets the bra can be exchanged but the briefs can not ,due to health regulations.

·         If the item you receive is not what was described or we send the wrong size we will happily fix this.

·         Please keep in mind that we sell only top quality garments but are a reseller & not the manufacturer so we cannot be responsible for garment  performance. We will describe each garment as accurately as possible.

·         You must notify us immediately if there is a problem.

·         WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS IF YOU HAVE WORN THE ITEM OR THE TAGS HAVE BEEN REMOVED NO MATTER WHAT THE PROBLEM.

·         If an item is faulty you need to contact us immediately & it must be returned in the same packing envelope & marked “return to Sender – damaged”.

·         It is at the seller's discretion to send either a replacement or offer a store credit.

·         Exchanges can be made if you purchase the wrong size providing the item has all tags attached & is unworn, only tried on. Please do not remove the tags to try on items as that will forfeit your return rights.

·         All garments are stored in a smoke free & pet-free environment  so please show the same respect & return them free of odours. Any items returned with odours will be returned to you & the exchange will be forfeited. If you are a smoker please be aware that we will not accept items back that smell of smoke.

·         Exchanges are to be made direct, just let us know which item you want to exchange for. DO NOT do another “BUY IT NOW” for the exchange item.

·         A returned item must be returned within 7 days for us to honour the exchange; otherwise exchange rights will be forfeited. Sending an item back after 4 to 6 weeks is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

·         The buyer is responsible for PAYING ALL POSTAGE COSTS both to return the item to us & to have the exchange item sent to them. For both exchanges and store credits. This also includes items that were offered as free post items.

·         When returning the bra back to us YOU MUST include your own prepaid self addressed postage satchel that we can use to send the exchange bra back to you.

·         Store credits must be used within 60 days of purchase, any unused after 60 days will be forfeited. You are responsible for paying postage of the exchange item back to you when using your store credit.

 

CONTACT US

Communication & honesty is the key to successful trading on eBay. We are understanding people, therefore if you have any problems just send us a message & we will endeavour to answer it

Our preferred method of contact is via emails or eBay’s  ‘My Messages’

Using email or ‘My Messages’ allows us time to give the correct answer, as we may need to seek additional information for you.

Please be patient if you don’t get a response immediately, you will get one.

We generally respond within 12-24 hours. (Expect delays on public holidays and/or long weekends).

If you have not received a response within 3 days:

  • Check to see if there is a 'holiday settings' message evident at our shop front. If so, this will indicate when we will become available.
  • You may need to check your spam filters or spam inbox on your email account. 
  • Please attempt to make contact again!  As the eBay message system seems to malfunction on occasions. 

FEEDBACK

We leave feedback automatically when feedback has been left for us.

Feedback is left in bulk & occasionally it may not work, just contact us & we will leave it automatically.

Please think carefully about what type of feedback you wish to leave. We are proud of our feedback record that has been built up over years of good service.

If you feel you are not happy with the transaction please contact us rather than leaving negative feedback when all it could take is some communication & understanding to sort out the problem.

If you consider leaving negative feedback because the item didn’t fit, was the wrong shape or colour or the delivery was slower than you expected. Just consider we are resellers not manufacturers & we have no control over Australia Posts delivery times once we have lodged your parcel at the post office.

We are honest sellers & high volume power sellers work hard to make your experiences in our store comfortable. We are not here to “take you for a ride’ which is reflected in our feedback from previous customers.

You are dealing with a business & your satisfaction is important to us as without you we would not have a business.
