Products

Are your items new?

All of our listed items are brand new, sealed (where applicable) and packaged with any or all components bundled by the supplier.

Can you recommend a certain item for me?

We are keen to assist our customers in locating what they want and we always do our best to point them in the right direction, whenever we can.

If you're looking for a specific item and you know the correct title, or if you wish to browse a general category, we can usually help. However, we're generally unable to offer specialised advice on which items to purchase.

Do you sell first edition books?

All of our books are brand new and have been sourced recently from distributors and publishers. We are not an antiquarian bookseller and we do not deal in first editions or printings.

Will I receive the exact cover displayed on the eBay listing?

We source all our cover images directly from the publishers. In the majority of cases, you will receive the cover that is listed. However, from time to time publishers will update covers. If the cover art is important to you, please contact our customer services before placing your order.

Shipping

What are your delivery costs?

Delivery to any Australian address is free.

What are your delivery times?

The delivery time will depend on the item purchased. Please refer to the eBay listing for exact delivery information.

How do you ship?

All deliveries within Australia are made via AusPost or courier depending on the cost of the item and whether you have upgraded your shipping option. Postage times will vary. Please consult our delivery times section for further information.

Can I request courier shipping?

We offer a courier delivery option for $8.95. If you wish to have your item delivered via courier, please email us after you have purchased the book, but before paying. We will email you a revised invoice through eBay for this service. Please note we do have a 1-4 day handling time, but once shipped such items arrive at most Australian addresses within 1-3 business day.

Can I pick my item up from your warehouse?

We are not able to facilitate pickups and do not operate a physical storefront. All of our orders are dispatched either by post or courier.

When will my preorder ship?

Pre-ordered titles will be sent to us by the local distributors on the suppliers's release date in Australia. Customers should generally expect to generally receive their orders within 5-7 business days after the stipulated date of publication. Please note that orders for multiple items may ship in multiple deliveries.

Payment & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept only PayPal & bank transfer.

How do I pay via bank transfer?

Please email us once you have placed your order, and we will reply with the bank account details and a reference number.

How do I pay via PayPal?

Please purchase your book on the eBay listing page, complete checkout and input your payment details when prompted by the eBay checkout system.

Are you negotiable on your prices?

We are unable to offer lower prices than what is listed on eBay.

In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with your order, you can lodge a claim for the cost of your order through a variety of methods. Orders

What If I Haven’t Received My Order?

If your order is not received within the stipulated time frame, please contact our customer service team at ebay@thenile.com.au to trace the missing item. Please note that we are not able to accept any claims for missing items in instances in which the customer has failed to contact us within a two month period.

What If My Order Is Unsatisfactory?

All orders can be returned within 7 days of receipt for a refund.

What if I entered an incorrect address?

Your order should be returned to us and we will contact you when it does. You will have to pay for it to be re-shipped.
